Ingredients
  

  • 500 g chicken breast cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a bowl mix olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, lemon juice, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and cumin powder.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix until well coated.
  3. Let the chicken marinate for at least 20 minutes for better flavor.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
  5. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill.
  7. Cook for about 6–7 minutes on one side until lightly charred.
  8. Turn the skewers and cook another 6–7 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
  9. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 20 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
  • Adjust the chili powder to your spice preference.
  • Add bell peppers or onions to the skewers for extra flavor.
  • Serve with yogurt dip, garlic sauce, or fresh salad.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
