Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes no sugar added
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat
  2. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth
  5. Add bell peppers and all spices
  6. Mix well and bring to a simmer
  7. Cook for 20–25 minutes until thickened
  8. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot

Notes

  • Adjust spice level to your preference
  • Add cheese or sour cream for extra richness
  • Let chili sit for 10 minutes before serving for better flavor
  • Store leftovers in fridge for up to 4 days
