Ingredients
  

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 ½ cups pecan halves
  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges as desired.
  3. Arrange pecan halves evenly in the pie crust.
  4. In a bowl, whisk maple syrup, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  5. Add eggs and whisk until smooth.
  6. Stir in melted butter, bourbon, vanilla extract, and salt.
  7. Pour filling mixture evenly over pecans.
  8. Bake for 50–55 minutes until center is set but slightly jiggly.
  9. Cover crust edges with foil if browning too quickly.
  10. Cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
