Ingredients
  

  • For the crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • For the filling:
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice or regular lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • For topping:
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Extra lime zest or lime slices

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Press mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish.
  4. Bake crust 8–10 minutes until lightly golden and cool slightly.
  5. Whisk condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and egg yolks until smooth.
  6. Pour filling into crust.
  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until center is set but slightly jiggly.
  8. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate at least 3 hours.
  9. Top with whipped cream and garnish before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
  • Chill thoroughly for clean slices.
  • Do not overbake to keep filling creamy.
  • Store refrigerated up to 4 days.
