Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes no sugar added
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat
  2. Sauté onion until soft, then add garlic
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, chicken broth, and tomato paste
  5. Add bell peppers and all spices
  6. Mix well and bring to a simmer
  7. Cook for 20–25 minutes until thickened
  8. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking
  9. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot

Notes

  • Turkey cooks leaner, so avoid overcooking
  • Add cheese or sour cream for extra richness
  • Adjust spice level to your taste
  • Let the chili rest for a few minutes before serving for better flavor
