Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Place halved bell peppers in a baking dish
- Cook ground beef in a pan until browned
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until soft
- Stir in tomato sauce and spices and mix well
- Spoon beef mixture into bell peppers
- Top with shredded cheese
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until peppers are tender and cheese is melted
- Serve warm and enjoy
Notes
- Use different colored peppers for variety
- Add jalapeños for extra spice
- Do not overcook peppers to keep a slight crunch
- Great for meal prep and leftovers
- Top with sour cream or avocado before serving
