Keto Philly Cheesesteak Casserole

A rich, cheesy, and low-carb twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak. This keto casserole is packed with tender beef, sautéed peppers, onions, and melted cheese for a hearty and satisfying meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g thinly sliced beef or ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce sugar-free if possible
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes optional
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions peppers and garlic until soft
  3. Add beef and cook until browned and fully cooked
  4. Season with salt pepper paprika and Worcestershire sauce
  5. Stir in heavy cream and cream cheese until smooth and creamy
  6. Transfer mixture to a baking dish
  7. Top with provolone and mozzarella cheese
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot

Notes

  • Slice beef thin for an authentic Philly texture
  • Use ground beef for a quicker version
  • Add mushrooms for extra flavor
  • Best served fresh, but can be refrigerated for 3 days
