Ingredients
  

  • 500 g ground beef or turkey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach chopped
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  5. Mix in spices, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add spinach and cook for 3–5 minutes until wilted.
  7. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use coconut oil instead of olive oil for a different flavor.
  • Add chili flakes if you prefer extra heat.
  • This chili thickens as it sits, making it great for leftovers.
