Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat
- Cook ground beef until browned
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until fragrant
- Stir in cream cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper
- Remove from heat and mix in half of the shredded cheese
- Fill mushroom caps with the beef mixture
- Top with remaining cheese
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until mushrooms are tender and cheese is melted
- Serve warm and enjoy
Notes
- Choose large mushrooms for easier stuffing
- Do not overbake to avoid soggy mushrooms
- Add herbs for extra flavor
- Great as a party appetizer or snack
- Best served hot
