Incredibly Crispy Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 large chicken breasts cut into halves or cutlets
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl whisk egg and milk together.
  3. In another bowl mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture.
  5. Coat the chicken thoroughly in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken pieces.
  8. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Panko breadcrumbs create an extra crispy crust.
  • Add Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
  • Serve with pasta, salad, or roasted vegetables.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
