Incredible Mississippi Pot Roast Sliders

These Mississippi pot roast sliders are juicy, savory, and packed with bold flavor. Tender shredded pot roast gets layered on soft slider buns with melted cheese and a buttery topping. They’re perfect for game days, parties, or an easy comfort-food dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 cups cooked shredded Mississippi pot roast
  • 6 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 6 –8 sliced pepperoncini peppers

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Spread shredded pot roast evenly over the buns.
  4. Add sliced pepperoncini peppers over the meat.
  5. Lay cheese slices over the filling.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns over the cheese.
  7. In a bowl mix melted butter, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and parsley.
  8. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the buns.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake another 5 minutes until the tops are golden.

Notes

  • Hawaiian slider buns add a slightly sweet flavor that pairs well with the roast.
  • Add caramelized onions for extra richness.
  • Serve with chips, fries, or a fresh salad.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
