Method
- In a bowl, mix warm milk, honey, and yeast; let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Add melted butter, salt, whole wheat flour, and oats; mix well.
- Gradually add all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased pan.
- Let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use warm—not hot—milk to activate yeast properly.
- Add extra oats on top for a rustic look.
