Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar for topping
  • 1/2 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
  2. In a bowl mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and vanilla
  3. Transfer apple mixture to a baking dish and drizzle with caramel sauce
  4. In another bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt
  5. Add butter and mix until crumbly texture forms
  6. Sprinkle crumble topping evenly over apples
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly
  8. Let cool slightly before serving

Notes

Use tart apples like Granny Smith for the best flavor balance
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence
Add chopped nuts for extra crunch
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days
