Method
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat
- Add sausage and cook until browned
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until soft
- Stir in paprika Italian seasoning salt and pepper
- Add cabbage carrots and chicken broth
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 25-30 minutes
- Stir occasionally until cabbage is tender
- Adjust seasoning and garnish with fresh parsley
- Serve hot

- Use smoked sausage for a deeper flavor
- Skip carrots for a stricter keto version
- Add zucchini or spinach for extra vegetables
- Best served hot and stores well in fridge for 3 days
