Ingredients
  

  • 250 g pasta penne or spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or oil from sun-dried tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions and reserve 1/4 cup pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Add reserved pasta water if needed for a silky texture.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper, garnish, and serve.

Notes

  • Use oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Add spinach or chicken for a hearty twist.
  • Don’t skip parmesan—it ties everything together.
