Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup cottage cheese
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a casserole dish.
  2. In a bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  3. Add shredded chicken, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared casserole dish.
  6. In a small bowl mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter.
  7. Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot and bubbly with a golden topping.
  9. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken makes this recipe quick and easy.
  • Add cooked bacon bits for extra flavor.
  • Serve with rice, salad, or roasted vegetables.
