- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin tin
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
- Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool slightly before serving
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for best flavor
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the muffins soft
- Add walnuts for extra crunch
