Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla
- Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix well
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool before slicing
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness
- Do not overmix the batter to keep loaf soft
- Add walnuts for extra crunch
- Store in an airtight container for freshness
- Best served slightly warm
