Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray
- In a bowl, mix mashed banana, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
- Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Scoop dough onto baking tray in small portions
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden
- Let cool slightly before serving
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for better sweetness
- Do not overbake to keep cookies soft
- Add nuts for extra crunch
- Store in an airtight container
- Best enjoyed fresh and warm
