Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed banana, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Scoop dough onto baking tray in small portions
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden
  7. Let cool slightly before serving

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for better sweetness
  • Do not overbake to keep cookies soft
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Store in an airtight container
  • Best enjoyed fresh and warm
