Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup melted butter or oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt and mix well
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until set but still fudgy inside
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares

Notes

  • Do not overbake to keep brownies fudgy
  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Store in an airtight container
  • Best enjoyed slightly warm
