Banana Chocolate Chip Bread Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan
  6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
  7. Let cool before slicing and serving

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for natural sweetness
  • Do not overmix the batter for a soft texture
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Store covered at room temperature or refrigerate
  • Great for breakfast or dessert
