Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set
  7. Let cool before cutting into bars

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best flavor
  • Do not overbake to keep blondies soft
  • Add nuts for extra texture
  • Store in an airtight container
  • Great for snacks or dessert
