Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
- Add flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set
- Let cool before cutting into bars
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for the best flavor
- Do not overbake to keep blondies soft
- Add nuts for extra texture
- Store in an airtight container
