Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a donut pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla
- Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix well
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Spoon batter into donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full
- Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden and set
- Let cool slightly before removing from pan
Notes
- Do not overmix to keep donuts soft
- Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness
- Add cinnamon for extra flavor
- Can be topped with glaze or powdered sugar
- Best enjoyed fresh and warm
