Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a donut pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix well
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Spoon batter into donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden and set
  7. Let cool slightly before removing from pan

Notes

  • Do not overmix to keep donuts soft
  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness
  • Add cinnamon for extra flavor
  • Can be topped with glaze or powdered sugar
  • Best enjoyed fresh and warm
