Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup melted butter or oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease or line a baking pan
  2. In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
  3. Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
  4. Fold in chocolate chips
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan or divide into muffin cups
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
  7. Let cool before slicing or serving

Notes

  • Use overripe bananas for the best sweetness
  • Do not overmix the batter to keep it soft
  • Add nuts for extra crunch
  • Store in an airtight container for freshness
  • Great for breakfast or snacks
