Method
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease or line a baking pan
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, melted butter, egg, and vanilla
- Add flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt and mix until combined
- Fold in chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan or divide into muffin cups
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
- Let cool before slicing or serving
Notes
- Use overripe bananas for the best sweetness
- Do not overmix the batter to keep it soft
- Add nuts for extra crunch
- Store in an airtight container for freshness
